Description:
The fishing village Porto Kagio is about 80kms or 1,5 hours by car southwards from Stoupa. There are only a dozen houses along the small beach.
Those who adore eating fish have to decide in which tavern they want to go, but anyone wanting to sleep here has to stay at the "Akrotiri".
This house has been constructed according to 'modern' standards and has rooms with two to four beds, bathroom and balcony.
Air conditioning and central heating makes the house suitable during the whole year. The "Akrotiri" is an ideal starting point for tours and walks in the unique nature close to the 'Cape Tenaron' - the southernmost point from Europe's mainland.

We had a lovely time at Akrotiri in 2009 and in 2010. A good kitchen, lovely food and a really good room. It's beautiful too wake up early in the morning, walking up and watching the rising sun above the bay. Beautiful place to stay with friendly people.

Had a wonderful fish meal at akrotiri in May 2005. Looking forward to another visit in May 2007.Would like to book in for the night.
