The state of the bins once more is past just an eyesore it has become dangerous to health.
friends have said this situation is putting tourists off coming back..also making the likes of us residents feel were living in a ghetto, why not just cut the water off as well!! OH I FORGOT IT IS FOR PARTS OF THE DAY!!./Week/Month
The bins do seem to be getting emptied a bit more often than previously.

After Thursday's storm and susequent power loss, Friday morning was a nightmare, no water and couldn't use our back-up tank as there wasn't enough electric to run the pump.
Happy days !
Still, at least the garden got a good watering.

Two months on and what's changed ? The bins in Stoupa are now being emptied on a regular basis, but ours and those by Frigano are on a once a fortnight (if we're lucky) schedule, so we are always overflowing, meaning we have to travel to find bins to use.
The latest whizz is putting stickers on the Stoupa bins saying "please put ALL of your rubbish in the bins". We would love to.
Wonder if anyone at the Dimos reads this board ?
