Rabbit Stifado

Post by DaveM » Tue Nov 18, 2008 6:13 pm

I fancy having a crack at making Rabbit Stifado over Christmas. Is there a pet shop near Stoupa does anyone know?
Is it just me, or would you kill people for the kind of download speed that girl from the piracy ad's getting?

sorry Dave,
Dont know about a pet shop, but if its Rabbits your after then go for the easy option, Cats,
if you take theSkin, head, tail, and claws off then they have got the same skeletal features and muscle tone.
And compared to rabbit prices, much cheaper and there are loads knocking about.
If its wild rabbits your after for the stifado, you will be lucky as I think the Greeks have just about shot them all now, so again this time you go for the Ferral cat, plenty about and there is no worries about Myxomatosis in cats.
As for cooking times, cat is the same as per kilo of rabbit.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Bandit.

BAD Bandit! Bad Dave as well, actually. tut tut tut

Does Rabbit Stifado involve boiling bunnies by any chance? just wondered, as I have been known to be rather a "bunny boiler" in my time.............. (only once though, when my ex-boyfriend visited me to collect his swimming trunks, so I cut holes in them before lobbing them out of the bedroom window and shouting "Catch"!)

Don't read this forum much, but was intrigued that there is actually someone alive out there who posted today. :o

Loved the replies, and there is a surplus of cats in Stoupa because they are being fed by Brits. So much for the survival of the fittest! 8-)

If that is refering to myself, then no, just not much to post at present.
Is it just me, or would you kill people for the kind of download speed that girl from the piracy ad's getting?

I don't think any of the posters on this thread would post under a pseudonym so just assumed.
