Hi Stu1,
There has been some changes,
1/ where gregs was there is now a KFC
2/ Next to gregs in now a McDonalds
3/ A new lap dancing club opened next to harbour
4/ Casino where the port police used to be
5/ The side road next to gregs is now full of red lights offering all sorts !!!
6/ No fishing boats in the harbour, just jet skis and banana boat rides
7/ there are now 7 all night, night clubs with foam parties
8/ trips organised by the 18-30 rep on site
9/ a team of early morning cleaners to clean up bottles, cans and vomit.

Ag Nik In General

We were there yesterday for lunch and the only thing I would say is how quiet it is. Only 6 people in Vesuvious, a few in Greggs and where all the chairs are along the sea wall for the tavernas I don't think there was one person. Mind you, we were late at 2.30, maybe that was it.

suit me that. although the locals i guess would prefer busy, just a point, when we were there last year there was a festival night/ sardines/singing and dancing - absolutely brilliant it was, think it would have been around the 22/23rd July. anyone know if it is same this year? thanks

The trouble stu is that no customers = no business = closed busines = less choice = less customers etc etc. It just looked sad with all the emptiness. Let's hope that it perks up for July/August, I'm sure it will.
