Why?

Post by Donaldo » Sat Jun 27, 2015 11:19 pm

Anyone got any views, without getting Greg and Freda into any more bother, why on earth do they have to close for 10 days in the middle of the season, green eyed monster maybe? Whatever reason I hope that these lovely people come back stronger from this crass decision to close them down, unbelievable!!

At the risk of being accused (by the not so secret MI5) of 'stirring things up', may we know why exactly Greggs has been forced to close?

There are GEMs everywhere here, within all communities. I suspect, Donaldo, that you know the reason for the closure.

Zissi, Go to Ag Nik and ask.

Three strikes and you are out is the rule.

Same happened in Stoupa a few years ago to a bar next to a gallery as I recall.

Check the archives !

As an occassional visitor I have no idea why Gregg's has been closed for 10 days, however I can remember about fifteen years ago a number of bars in Stoupa were closed for the first 10 days of August , at the height of the season. From memory they were playing music either too loudly or too late or a combination of both and had ignored a "friendly" warning.
