Athen - Agios Nikolaos

Can someone help me with advice about the easiest way to travel from Athens Airport to Agios Nikolaos :?: We arrive Athens at midday and thinking it might be possible to travel further the same day.
Is it possible to take a bus :?:

Yes, first you get the transfer bus x93 to Athens bus terminal. From there it has several busses to Kalamata: http://www.zorbas.de/english/transfer_ktel.php
But probably you arrive too late in Kalamata for the bus to Ag. Nikolaos. So from there by taxi: http://www.zorbas.de/english/transfer_taxi.php
