Mobile friendlyness
I would like to ask you a favor:
http://www.stoupa.de is a so called 'responsive' website and like that 100% mobile friendly (smartphones and tablets)
But I do not like the design very much and it is hard to keep two websites up to date (espacially in 2-3 languages)
This is also the reason why this site was pretty neglected by me and is not up to date.
http://www.zorbas.de is semi-responsive and like that absolutely usable on tablets and kind of usable on some smartphones, but on some smartphones nearly not usable at all.
I still like the design of this site - after more the 12 years!
I would be very glad if you would let me know your experience with both sites on your mobile devices. Please also state what device you were using.
I would be interested also in what you think regarding the design and of course generally in your thoughts.
Thank You!

Re: Mobile friendlyness
Hi.
I use the site on an IPad, an android phone and my laptop and all work well, I am very happy with the layout and content on all devices.
Thanks
Mark

Both sites work well also on my Samsung Tablet. Thank you Stephan - also for all your efforts regarding the webcams. They really help me make it until the next stay!

Re: Mobile friendlyness
Since some minor changes regarding the mobile friendlyness of zorbas.de, some people mentioned that the camBoard (embedded in the zorbas.de framework) was too narrow and fonts were too small. I hope these issues are now solved?

Of course the font on my laptop became also much larger - but not annoyingly. Is it possible for you to post a screenshot?

Re: Mobile friendlyness
As there were some issues reported regarding the font size of the camBoard, users can now change the font size themselves:
Click on your username at the top, right -> Go to the User Control Panel -> Choose the Board Preferences tab -> In the global settings you can now switch on large fonts and choose a percentage which suits you.
On the same page users can now also set their own preferred forum width.

That’s great Stephan. On my ipad I just changed the font to 150 and it’s just about back where it was before all this
.
