international driving permit

Post by cav-gas » Thu Jan 10, 2019 7:23 pm

Anyone driving in greece non resident will need this after brexit

We called in at our main post office branch today re international driving permit, the gentleman in there was very helpful told us we can get a form for this after 1st of February, and as far as we know will issue it there with all the relevant documents for them to check ie passport driving licence plus passport photo. You do need to check on line as to the nearest post office to you that does this, as it may not be your local one. Will update this topic when we hopefully get them sorted with more info

What are the 3 versions? Does it refer to from the year you attained a license? Full or otherwise...?

I thought it was simple as it depends on which agreement the country you will be driving in signed upto. So if you intend to drive in Greece and maybe Spain you would require 2 different International Driving Licences, suggest you check when you apply at the Post Office.
