New Beach Bar in Agios Nikolaos (Selinítsa)

I went along last night to the opening of a new bar next to Pantazi beach in Agios Nikolaos. Everything was fine until I asked a member of staff for the bill. Now I have been in some expensive bars in my time but 20 Euros for two small bottles of Fix (330ml) really does take the prize. I immediatly questioned the price and after the waitress had a small conversation with the DJ the bill was actually 10 Euros. Still incredibly expensive. I don't know if the staff thought I was a dumb tourist or were just trying it on, but either way their actions were totally unethical. Unless you have money to burn I suggest to give the beach bar a miss the next time you are in Agios Nikolaos. Aggies is far nicer and much cheaper.

Absolutely agree, except for the fact that (when the weather's not great) everyone continues to smoke inside.........
