Charmed Lives in Greece

Post by Occam » Thu Mar 22, 2018 9:01 pm

This exhibition at the British Museum about three friends, Niko Ghika, john Craxton (both painters) and Patrick Leigh Fermor has just opened. I went yesterday and it is well worth a visit if you can get there. It's free . There's also a very well-produced book available which is not, alas, also free. It's £30 but I treated myself. I believe you can also order it from the BM's online shop.

You can find more information, including the video presentation from the exhibition, at http://www.britishmuseum.org/whats_on/e ... reece.aspx

The exhibition runs until 15 july.

Many thanks for the link - excellent video. Unfortunately, I doubt I will get to see the exhibition but will check out the book.

Great for those of us with an interest in Paddy's life and times. Many thanks for letting us know about this.
