100 Euro Note

Post by Mellie » Fri Jul 20, 2018 10:22 am

Our holiday money was delivered this morning ready for our stoupa holiday on Thursday. We have quite a few 100 Euro notes & was wondering are they accepted ok in the village & if not this there anywhere to exchange them? Roll on Thursday!

I would break the notes up at the airport. I’m feeling bad giving a 50!

We had a few of these a couple of years ago and initially had similar concerns. I used them when paying meal bills or when doing a shop in Katerinas and glad to say I experienced no problems at all.

Hi
We often have 100 euro notes and have never had a problem using them.

100€ notes should not be any problem we had some American friends a couple of years ago visiting us and they had 200€ notes which they used with no problem. I believe the 500€ note is be fazed out by the end of 2018.
