Thomas Cook !

Post by john m » Mon Sep 23, 2019 1:13 pm

Having heard the dreadful news regarding Thomas Cook, I guess as a major player in the area, this is going to cause considerable problems.
I just wish all the businesses and tourists affected the very best with regards to maintaining your customer base & too those who may be stranded a swift repatriation.

Whether or not the report that some could be stranded for weeks is true or not, although on the other side of the bay, if there is a need for emergency accommodation at all, we have an apartment to the house which is available f.o.c. For up to four persons.
Nostalgia is not what it used to be.

If you have to be stranded with delayed flights a good place to be stranded!back a week ago from great holiday now in grey and wet UK.

Just hope all the hosts and apartment owners do not loose out and get their payments with minimal delays, should be covered by the ATOL scheme i believe.

It looks like Jet 2 Holidays have taken on all the properties that Thomas Cook had they have gone on today. Hooray.

At the moment Jet2 have added a few of the accommodations (so far 7) that had previously been with Thomas Cook, but I think you will find they will be focusing on their family all-inclusive package holidays near Pyrgos.
